The Alliance of University and College Counseling Center Social Work Training supports a community of social work professionals and trainees who are engaged in or planning for training programs within University and College counseling centers. We promote the social work value of competence through support, networking, exchange of resources, professional development, and advocacy. We aim to equip trainees with the knowledge and skill needed to be competitive for counseling center positions. Fundamental to our values are inclusivity, an emphasis on advancing social justice, elevating and celebrating diverse and marginalized voices, cultural humility, and strengthening innovative social work training programs.
